RESIDENCE BASED ON TRAINIG - REQUIREMENTS :

These are as follows :warrant

-a-Not being a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or from Switzerland, or a family member of citizens of these countries to whom the Union citizen regime applies.

-b-Having no criminal record in Spain or in their country of origin, or in the country or countries where they have resided during the last five years.

-c-Not being prohibited from entering Spain and not being listed as inadmissible in the territory of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement to that effect.

-d-Not being, when applicable, within the period of commitment not to return to Spain that the foreigner should have ssumed upon voluntarily returning to their country of origin.

-e-Having resided continuously in Spain for a minimum period of two years prior to applying for the stated authorization. Continuous residence is understood to mean that absences have not exceeded 90 days in the last two years.

-f-Commit to undertaking training :

-f1-Regulated training for employment or to obtain a professional certificate, or training leading to obtain a certification of technical aptitude or professional qualification necessary for the exercise of a specific occupation, or training promoted by the Public Employment Services and oriented towards the performance of occupations included in the Catalogue referred to in Article 65.1 (Catalog of occupations in need of filling, which can be consulted by clicking here.

-f2-Or, within the framework of continuing education at universities, commit to undertaking courses to expand or update training or professional skills and competencies, as well as other continuing education courses.

-fw-For these purposes, enrollment must have been completed within three months of notification of the resolution granting the residence permit.

-f3-That the corresponding fee for processing the procedure has been paid.
